Throughout this project, I delved into the comprehensive design process involved in crafting a campaign. My journey began with thorough research, ideation, development, iteration, production, and reflection. The cause I passionately chose to advocate for was the protection of coral reefs. Post-cause selection, I embarked on the creation of a hypothetical organization dedicated to supporting this cause. I meticulously designed promotional materials for the campaign and established cohesive branding guidelines for the organization, ensuring a seamless and impactful visual identity.
Phase one: Mood Board
The purpose of creating the mood board was to establish a visual environment that served as a constant source of inspiration, providing a foundational reference point for me to revisit throughout the entire project.

Phase two: Process
I employed idea mapping to explore the potential directions for my project and pinpoint the elements I aimed to emphasize in my work. By sketching multiple logo designs, I visually assessed which components were most effective, enabling me to create a design that maximized impact.

Phase three: Logo Family
Drawing inspiration from the initial logo sketches, I developed a cohesive logo family with distinct elements for each design. The incorporation of light blue reflects the oceanic theme, while the use of pink intricately forms the coral design. The inclusion of a heart symbolizes the profound message of cherishing and safeguarding our coral reefs, emphasizing the importance of love and protection.

Phase four: Branding
The project catered to a college student audience, prompting me to adopt a playful and straightforward design style. This approach facilitated effective communication without overshadowing essential information. The chosen color palette drew inspiration from natural oceanic hues, creating a visually engaging and harmonious aesthetic. Additionally, the selected typefaces ensured accurate information delivery while contributing to an overall lively and clear ambiance.
